I had a Long Beach Red C7 that I traded in for a Jeep Wrangler, it was a moment of abject stupidity. Last year I purchased a 2005 C6 convertible, I liked it but not as much as my C7. yesterday I acquired a 2016 C7 convertible. The C7 is my favorite Corvette after the C3.
If you're still in So Maine, head over to OOB the weekend of 6/9 - 6/11, it's Corvette Weekend and the beach will be crawling with a few hundred Corvettes!
Perhaps I should have elaborated in my statement of the C7 being my favorite Corvette after the C3. In terms of driving dynamics and build quality there is no comparison between the C7 and C3. The C7 wins hands done. In terms of styling the C3 is a clear winner, in my perspective. The C3 is one of the most beautiful cars in the world. Washing a C3 is a sensual experience, a couple of years ago I purchased a 1982 Collectors Edition and I could stare at that car all day long. It is gorgeous from every angle.
Welcome back to the C7 world. Great ride, even if you sold the best color in the stable
Face Bowling Green and say "Zora Arkus-Duntov" three times, and your sin will be forgiven...

That I get. Had a gorgeous '67 Camaro convertible for several years. Mountain mist green. I can still feel the lines of that car washing it. C7's are incredible automobiles. But like you said, nothing is as pretty as some of these older cars. Its a trade off.
Congrats . The car looks fantastic. I just purchased my 2017 Stingray in Admiral Blue a couple weeks ago. M7 car and 6000 miles. Went into the garage from the car hauler and I then had my left knee scoped and repaired. There she sits. Hoping to get it out later next week. I'm in southern Maine as well so hopefully we'll run across each other. Enjoy!
