Hello, as I understand it, there are devices that I can attach to my C7 for tracking, like if it is stolen. I looked at some, but they require a monthly fee. And some that I see plug into my auto information port, but that is where my Range device is being used. Anyone have some suggestions? Thanks!

Isn't that your insurance company's problem? Say you DO get it back but it's trashed. You wanna?
Can you track AirTag out of range? If the AirTag isn't within range of your device or any devices in the Find My network, you see its last known location and timestamp. To be notified when your AirTag is within range of your device or detected by the Find My network, turn on Notify When Found under Notifications
Look up what the Turo guys use. You're going to pay some kind of monthly fee.
To what end would someone be paying this money for an install and monthly fee? You really want it back? It is unlikely to be in the same condition it was taken.

for the turo guys it's to track their fleet. a lot of them self install, usually buried somewhere.
for a random corvette owner? yeah, I'm with you. it's a corvette. not worth paying a monthly fee to track.
that said, you could just.. pay for onstar, I suppose.

Definitely understand and would if I was owner of such a fleet.
I'd be fine if the insurance company wants to pay the fee and install. I don't see why I want to pay for something to protect property YOU were being paid money to insure.
I could but I didn't want to. Tried it for the free 3 months and said "Screw it".
Have you tried Lojack? There is an initial fee, with no monthly fee. They used to give free detectors to local agencies for their patrol units. I have not kept current.
