I have a hard code (unable to clear it) of U0100. can communication code. from what I read it saying the can bus cannot communicate with the ecu. car runs perfectly fine but this stored code bothers me. any ideas on how to fix it? battery disconnect doesn't work code reader delete doesn't work and no idea where to start to look since the car runs perfect.

Not true. If you have a professional scan tool, you could find the module which is actually generating this message. But if everything is functioning normally, I recommend you just ignore it as it is probably a history code from some transient condition which will clear after 50 ignition cycles.
Unless there is something wrong with the car communication codes don't mean much. There could have been an electrical noise that interrupted a state of health message between two modules and when the signal was retransmitted the interference had disappeared.

everything seems to be running fine. I did have my blower off for a rebuild and port and when I reinstalled it I had both maf and map codes but restarting the car a couple times seems to have cleared them and the check engine light I had. my buddy has a fairly sophisticated scanner and he could only find this 1 code. on his scanner it shows up under the amplifier which I thought was weird
appreciate everyone input for now ill leave it be and enjoy the new ported blower sounds!
