On mine, a '15, the auto set clock is an hour off at each stupid DST change after the free On-Star expired. I believe the car gets the time off the cell connection which goes away.
I have an early '16 Z51 and auto set hasn't worked since onstar lapsed at the end of the trial period.
No longer automatically changes time zones while traveling either, which I find particularly annoying.

Not even sure if I have the auto set enabled on my C7. I just have got in the habit of manually setting all the clocks in the house, including the cars, when the time comes.
I've an '18 I bought in fall of '17 that did NOT reset automatically after OnStar was disconnected. But, a couple years later it did reset "spontaneously," but not correctly. Though the hour was right, the minutes were off. And, that's where it still is.
I have a 2017 Stingray. No Onstar subscription for years. Clock setting is set to update time automatically. Usually takes a few ignition cycles, sometimes a few days, but it always changes.
What's this time change thing? My car goes into storage around the time change in the fall and comes out around the spring time change. Never have dealt with it.
