Dealer says I am not covered for this?? I have the platinum plan and mileage is under 34,000km. 2019 C7 convertible

Call the insurance provider and inquire about repair being covered.

EXACTLY why I never buy those extended warranty plans. Whatever it is - it's always a "wear item" that's never covered.

GMEPP warranty clearly says "convertible top mechanisms not covered".
I asked for a copy before I bought mine, knew it isn't covered, still bought one.
