Default Engine temperature

Recently, I've been paying closer attention to my coolant temperature and it appears to be too low based on other threads I've read. The attached picture is after an hour and a half of driving in 80 degrees. I just recently installed a new OEM thermostat so now I'm thinking I need to replace the engine coolant temperature sensor.

Looking for opinions if this should be my next move or is it something else? Or do I not have anything to worry about?

Thanks

I think you are just fine at that temp. It is about the same temp as my 2014.

Those look like engine oil temp and transmission temp readings if I’m not mistaken. Trans on left, engine oil on right.

On my 2014 I have to be in Touring Mode and use the left arrow to get to menu then select Performance tab, it should be right there on RH side of display.

Regards, Jeff

Yeah, that's what got me too - and I think you're 100% correct.

Now I feel pretty dumb. I'll take a look next time I go for a drive.

Thanks!

You can customize what is displayed, varies some depending on what year year you have.
In the little "pocket gauges" I have oil pressure on the left and oil temp on the right.

That's about how my 2014 always reads. I thought it was always a little hot. My C6 Z51 ran a lot cooler for some reason.

Use the Touring Display that provides an easily readable digital readout for each of the engine temperatures. That way you don't have to choose which temperature to display.

On a 2015/16 Z06 this display is the only one that shows engine coolant temperature.

This is the only place to view engine temp on my 2014 also.

I found that menu and it looks like all my temps are normal! Sorry for the confusion but thanks for everyone's help.
