Broken front camera
Hi guys, the left side front camera stopped working and as the car was due a service I asked the dealer to take a look at it, they showed me that the camera has been hit by a stone or similar and it's cracked.
So I need a replacement.
The dealer was talking over 1000bucks and said they would need to program the camera to the car.
This sounds like BS.
Anyone else had to replace a camera?

I've replaced the entire 2017 Z06 front end, no reprogramming needed, worked as soon as I turned the car on.
Cameras are about $120 on Amazon:
However to replace it, is a pain, as you have to take the bumper off...
But I was replacing my bumper anyway, so I was replacing everything else as well...

Get a second opinion. $1K for replacing a camera does seem pretty stiff.
