I'm actually FROM Marion, IN. I've lived in Georgia now for almost 25 years, but that's my old stomping grounds. Make sure and get yourself a breaded pork tenderloin while you're there. That's an Indiana specialty

Actually had one of those for the first time at Mug N Bun while attending Indy this year. Pretty tasty for a treat but eating like that all the time could be hard on the arteries and waistline LOL
I just put it in the cup holder. It’s gets GPS reception and works just fine there. You get get video with the dragy too. Mounted my iPhone on the glass with a RAM mount.
@TheRobSJ Exactly the type of video I am hoping to capture!
Pretty good run BTW. It will all be new to me so I will need some practice runs.
Any tips on driving mode, RPM to shift, etc? I will be driving a 17 Z06/Z07 M7 with a Vengeance Racing Magnuson Street package making 850 whp.
Manage expectations. It’s an airstrip, maybe dusty too. Not a prepared drag strip. With that much power, it’s going to be tough to truly get all the power down in the first two gears. I put my PTM in Race and let launch control manage everything (which is why you hear it kind of bogging on the launch). I of course have the A8 so it gave me damn near redline shifts. With the M7, you should ask Vengeance how they tuned things for what is the ideal RPM to shift.
With that much power, if you have a good DA that day, I imagine you’ll be trapping in the low to mid 170s. Just don’t break 180 if somehow that is possible (a good tailwind). They want the parachute and all kinds of safety gear if you’re at that level.
Hey All, where on your C7 have you found a good spot to mount your Dragy?
I am attending the Airport Attack half mile event in Marion IN next month and I am looking for a spot that will give good performance.
Is there a setting on the Dragy that is best for a standing half mile event? I've had the Dragy for a while now and I finally am going to use it!
I actually have a great spot for it. Right above the steering wheel. The dragy comes with a small adhesive magnetic plate. I placed it on the smooth surface above the HUD and the dragy sits right behind my wheel.
