Default New tire setup

New to the forums here. Have a C7 Stingray 1LT. Currently it has 245/35zr19 and 285/30zr20 michelin a/s 3+ on the front and rear. Rears are shot somehow, what the biggest setup I can do front and rear keeping OEM wheels? I mainly daily it in nice weather with the occasional beating down on the streets of Mexico. Also, whats the go to non run flat tires? I know I'm going to get all different opinions, but open to hearing all of them as this is my first corvette. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum.

You might want to spend some time searching previous threads. I would be surprised if there are less than several hundred on tire questions and many on the questions you are asking. The bonus of the searches is that you can gather a lot of information more quickly than waiting for folks to give their opinions on this thread.

You can go to a site like Tire Rack and find the recommended wheel widths for various tire sizes.

You can go to the Tire Rack website, plug in the details of your car, and they will tell what's available in your sizes.
If you want to use different sizes, Tire Rack can tell you what they have but can't tell you if you'll have any clearance problems. I stay with stock.
If you want runflats, you're probably stuck with Michelin, which I like anyway. We've only needed the runflats once, but they saved us a bunch of money and even more hassle.

Our 2017 Z51 came with the Pilot Super Sport ZP (runflats), we're now on our third set (I do some autocross). There is the newer 4S summer tire, but performance seems about the same and they don't make 4S runflats in our sizes, I'm told that tire is being replaced next year. Both of them are not for use in cold weather or any snow.

For cold weather, we use the AS4 ZP to replace the the AS3+ ZP that we had previously, very similar. Just like the AS3+ you have, they're a good all around touring tire. If I didn't autocross, I'd probably use the AS4 ZP all year. We have noticed that replacing 6 year old tires with new tires of the identical model, gave a slightly softer ride and noticeably better handling.
