To do what? I sure as hell don't want you calling me about a car you bought. If the dealer gave you my info, I'd be pissed. The dealer could have bought it off some other shop so there might be no info there. Maybe post your car pic with a VIN so someone might recognize it and call you back? Someone who bought my truck googled the VIN and found me and sent me a PM so I can choose to respond or not.

youve got the rite idea about classic car and corvette owners willingness to talk about their cars even after theyve sold them, ive owned many classics and 10corvettes and have yet been turned away form the previous owner cause i had questions about his car.

I am not comfortable with my information handed over to someone I don't know for whatever reason they have. Doesn't matter what the item in question is. Car, boat, etc. I don't want to get a call from someone I don't know because a sales person gave him my number.
