Default 416 stoker

Recently upgraded my 14’ Stingray to 416 stroker with custom cam, polish heads, afe cai, headers, torque converter, oem throttle body and intake. Yet, car turning off when letting go the gas at slow speed, ex: coming to a traffic light. Throttle was relearned as well. Any ideas?

Might want to ask your question in the C7 Tech section.

Sounds like you've got a great start on performance mods. But I did not see a mention of tuning after the mods. Shouldn't tuning solve the problem.
I agree with Vetteman Jack. I'm sure the Tech side will produce a more informed response.
Best of luck for a quick solution.

Raise your idle rpm and see if it makes a difference.

If that doesn't solve it ask over on hp tuners or the person who tuned the car.

Tuning is the issue! I've had similar problems in the past with various combos, most readily solved by a good tuner...raising the idle won't solve the problem...

Yeah 800 is already bumped. Definitely a tune issue. Time for a new tuner.

Can I ask if the guy who is tuning it was the one that recommended that combination? Maybe bring it somewhere that they can do a live dyno tune? My experience with dyno tuning is that they guestimate it and then get it closer on the dyno to make the most power. HOWEVER, they don't always do the complete job which is driving it around and around and around and when they are done, around once more. All the while adjusting the way it handles. For my stock Stingray, no problem but you aren't stock so it might take a bit more. Perhaps give up the tuner altogether and find a dyno tuner who can get it close to something? Datalog and have him fine tune it?

My C4 was dyno tuned but it didn't have good street manners so I let someone keep it for a week while he drives it and gets it to where it should be. Much better.

Yes my tuner gave me that option and went with it. They do have a dyno but it’s down right now. It’s not the first time either, after built, drove it for 200 miles(breaking in) started to turn off, he re learn the throttle, last it about 50 miles and again. Took it back and he replaced the throttle body for another oem, last it about good 300 miles and just start it again.(that’s now) He just changed oil and it’s good, as of today now he’s going to make sure built and everything it’s ok. Will see hopefully tomorrow he calls me. I’m freaked out because that’s how it started when my motor went out the very first time😞

Why would you have to re-learn the throttle? It doesn't sound like it is tuned properly.
