Default C7 Key Fobs

When I purchased my 2014 Stingray in November, 2022 I received two key fobs. Neither fob had a “1” or “2” designation. They were both without any identification. How can I determine which key fob number is assigned to each of my fobs?

If you assign memory 1 & 2 with very different seat positions and then leave one fob far away, when you approach with the remaining fob you'll know which number it is by the position of the seat.

The first fob ever detected by the car is #1. Get into the car with only one fob and the DIC should say whether you are driver #1 or #2. If no message, try the other one. The message only seems to come up when you switch fobs (like when passenger gets in the car first). Note that this is only for 2&3 LT/LZ that have the memory functions.
