So I have the infamous 3lt dash delamination issue with my 17 z51. It is getting to a very bad point. I am probably going to take it to an interior shop and get it redone. I am thinking instead of leather, I am going to do a suede dash to match the headliner. Anyone else do any customer dashboard work?
Rafo -- sorry to hear about your dash issue. I had the same problem and did some work on it myself. You can search this forum and find that info as well. I bough a bottle of the "Tear Mender" fabric and leather adhesive, along with a small syringe. I just shot in some of the adhesive underneath the leather - used a small paint roller and smoothed it out. The 2 areas I did - worked pretty well. But...other places were starting to come up and I threw in the towel -- sold the 3LT and bought a 2LT. I could see this was going to be a thorn in my side down the road. Depending on how large the issue is with the Napa leather -- try this method before you go and spend a fortune on replacing the dash. My 2 cents for you. Good luck.
Thanks for the reply! I think it is beyond saving, the leather is messed up on the batwing, the HUD, around the heater vent, and the leather is getting loose above the airbag now.

I was able to repair the portion of my leather dash that was lifting above the air bag using tear mender adhesive and 3cc syringe with 23 gauge needles. Needed about a 1/3 of a bottle. So far it’s holding up. I would buy at least 2 bottles of adhesive. I think it’s worth a try.

You don't have much to lose by trying to do the repair yourself. I am sure there have been members that have attempted to change the leather on their dash - you can try the search function and see if any hits come up.
