Mine pretty much a mess above the HUD and I will be attacking that next. .
Have already injected the area to the left of HUD and it stuck down nicely but just be aware injecting isnt as easy as one would think. It was difficult to get the glue to flow even though it has a thin consistency. That and you can see the needle holes.

One option for you would be to remove the windshield and have a leather shop repair the area that's lifting. It's been done before with pretty good success.
Thanks for that info. I am going to call the three closest Chevy dealers and ask if they have corvette certified.

You're welcome. And just for the record, I had my dash replaced by Earnhardt Chevy here in Phoenix a few years ago. They refused 2 dashboards before they got one that met their expectations. Just a little story that you might want to pass on to your future service advisor.

Help me understand why it wouldn't be easier to remove the windshield and do the work. Can the place needing repair not be reached with the windshield out? Looking at this huge job, I can't see a reason to go to all that unless removing the windshield doesn't allow access to the dash. Maybe this had been addressed before. Thanks in advance.

Default Dash done waiting on new seat covers

I am so happy with my install, lot of bolts and switches to remove but just takes time. I have a lot of satisfaction and knowing no more future issue I’d fantastic!

Your choice! Brand new or used repair. My thought is brand new. Repaired ok but may have a new issue other than where you repaired.

Not to change the subject, but does anyone know if its possible to completely "upgrade" your dashboard/interior? For instance, if I have a Kalahari 2LT interior, could I take it to a dealership and have them upgrade it to 3LT red or blue interior? I'm considering buying my 1st Corvette and am realizing it might be hard to find the one with the exact interior and specs that I'm looking for. It might be more money to do so, but it'd be a lot less of a headache than trying to physically track one down that's in good condition and has what I'm looking for. Thanks.

AFAIK these are all on backorder - I think you'd have to find one and get it installed professionally OR find one, get it professional upholstered and then installed.

But what you're saying is...its possible lol? I wouldn't mind skipping the dealership and getting an aftermarket upholstery company to do it, as long as they can actually do it properly. If not, I guess going to the dealership would be the only way. Are dealerships picky about doing certain colors though? I was specifically wondering about the Tension Blue interior. That's what I'd want, but I know it's supposed to be a special edition or something like that. I wouldn't mind paying a premium and waiting for it if they'd actually be willing to install it.

Here is where I was a month ago!

I went with adrelinin red going from jet black. Did all the work myself. My seats are being redone again due to the crappy material I got from a second hand co. I have been waiting on the driver seat cover and passenger seat back and seat cover for 5 weeks now. Most of the back order issues are going away. When I ordered the dash it got here (Washington) in less than 10 days. Now my 2015 has brand new interior, very happy! Good luck.

Anything is possible given enough money.
Would I personally do it? Not really BUT I do get it (recently bought competition seats which I know most non corvette people don't care about)
Do whatever makes you happy, but I would probably go for other items before messing with the upholstery of the car.

I understand how and why some people would feel that way. It could potentially hurt the resale value of the car, etc., etc. However I'm not really a purist in that sense nor do I believe that keeping a car stock is the only way to truly appreciate it. I have a vision for how I want to build the car when I buy it and I simply want what I want. If I can't have what I want I'm willing to spend a little extra money to manufacture my own personal desires as long as the amount is reasonable. But thanks for the information.

I saw this photo in an Autotrader ad for a 2017 Stingray with 49k miles on it. This has to be the worst 3LT dash I've seen so far.

wow, I'm guessing that person is more than happy to take the hit on the resale of that to not have to fix it. Could have at least taken it to an upholstery shop to have it cleaned up. Although at this point even that will be pricey.

That is unbelievably bad, I can't imagine having to look at or over that every time I got in the car. I would have tried something, anything to at least make it better than that. Like there was no effort to mitigate it at all

The crazy thing is,this car is being sold from a car dealership which I suppose is why the price is where it is.

I just saw this car listed in C7 Classifieds on Facebook Market place but with different images/location. That dash sure makes it easy to recognize.
