I am going to look at a 2014 Vette tomorrow and was hoping for some general thoughts considering the below. I am more familiar with C5/C6 so C7 is uncharted territory for me. Thanks!

* 3LT - inspect the dash carefully for any signs of delamination.
* 7-speed should make for a fun drive.
* Very good color combo.
The 2014 has proven to be a really reliable car, and goes against the normal trend for a first year model of a new generation.
If the car checks out, has the options you want (remember the later models have more stuff available) and you can get it for a price that is right, go for it. You’ll really like the car.

2014 Corvette
44k Miles
3LT Z51
Clean CarFax
Torch Red/Black
7-Speed Manual
Asking Price $42,500
These had infotainment issues. Check the carfax to see if it has ever been replaced. Play with it and access the hide-away a few times. If it flickers or goes blank that's a problem. Both the 3LT dash and infotainment units are hard to come by to replace.
The clutches on these C7's are very expensive to replace, due to having to drop the transmission and torque tube, so pay particular attention to it.
If it had MRC note the shocks for any leaks (some seepage is normal).
Check tire wear to see alignment
check dash delamination
listen for torque tube noise
realize there are more options with later models
I'm super happy with my 2014
My 14 coupe is very closely equipped to the one you are looking at, color, options, etc. My coupe also has Magnetic Ride and Performance Exhaust. For reference, a search for my car two years ago; the national purchase price was about 49-51K.
I have had no issues with my 2014 3LT Z51, M7 EXCEPT, a small amount of delamination from the dash. I know that I will someday have to deal with it; however, the delamination is so small that no one would notice it but a Corvette guy.
The Z51 came from the factory with 19/20 forged wheels and Michelin summer tires. I replaced them shortly after the purchase with 18/19 forged wheels and Continental All Season tires to improve the ride.
As previously stated one of the most trouble free first year models ever introduced, in ALL categories, not just sports cars.....have enjoyed my '14 Torch Red Z51 1LT 7MT for six years and will continue to do so for many years to come.....enjoy and good luck
Went to go look at the car tonight, I like it, but it needs a few things. Initial driving impressions - very different than the C5, even the C6. Drove nice, I didn't notice any ride-quality issues.
It needs new tires, wheel repair, the radio didn't work, minor dash delamination, and it really needs a deep detail. I talked to the sales manager outside with the car, he acknowledged all of this and said that the dealer would take care of all that before delivery.
I am going to take some time to think about it, I do like the car; would obviously like it much better with all of my things mentioned fixed.
There are ample C7s available near that price. Don’t settle. IMO, sounds a little beat up for that mileage. There are owners that worship their cars and it shows. Be patient.

I hear ya, it wasn't worshiped, but I think the dealer is willing to really work on the price here. Didn't sign anything tonight, told them I will call them early next week. We'll see.
I have a 14 1LT and it has everything I need. If I were going to do it again, I might look harder for a 2lt but you might find better pricing on a 2lt and not have the dash issue.
I bought a high miles one with the plans I was going going to do stuff. Not sure if you plan on keeping it stock or modding it. The would play into my decision as well.
i purchased a 2014 M7 2LT convertible slightly more than 2 years ago. According to Carfax, i am the 4th owner. It had 34k miles on it when i purchased it. I currently have 49k miles on it. I have maintained it and customized it to my liking, but i have not had a single issue with it. Not one damn thing has broken on it. So i do not believe "2014 First Year" is an issue. Having been neglected/abused could be. Take your time (i started looking in June 2020 and purchased in April 2021) and find what you want that you will not regret purchasing.
I notice from the photos, it appears the brake rotors have been changed. They do not appear to be the OEM slotted rotors. I'm not making a judgment call, just to say that perhaps the brakes have been serviced recently. For reference I'm adding a photo of my dirty right front wheel and tire with OEM rotor.
BTW, the red calipers OP posted were a $595 option for the 2014. Black calipers were standard.

It also appears the brake calipers are a different style than OEM. I would find a better car. I recently purchased a 2014 with only 22,000 miles and it was in excellent shape except for it had a fuel smell when full of gas which was repaired under a service bulletin. There are some nice cars out there for the same price.
