Hello fellas, I have a 2014 C7 the problem I am experiencing is a code P0729, which is six gear in correct ratio. I’ve bought it to four Chevy dealers. Everyone tells me I need a new clutch because I can’t engage the clutch while car is running when the car is off I can go through all seven gears. And the only owner bought the car brand new. I have 27,418 miles on it. Can someone please help me with this issue I’m hearing other guys with vets tell me it’s not the clutch it’s a sensor inside the transmission please help on how to repair.

Are we missing something that the dealership is telling you? I don't see how they come up with bad clutch with this error. I Googled your error code:
"The P0729 code is an OBD-II trouble code that means the transmission is in gear 6 and the input speed sensor is reporting an incorrect gear ratio. This code is generic and applies to all OBD-II equipped vehicles."

So you have two issues.
- You can't change gears with the engine running
- You have a code
Let's start with the first issue....Does it have clutch fluid in the reservoir? Let us know.
