Default 2017 C7 Z51 1LT Price Check

Hi all, first post here. Been lurking in the posts and can see many of you have a ton of experience with Corvettes. I’m looking into buying one in the next few weeks. What do you guys think of this specific car?

17 Z51 1LT
40k miles
4 owners
clean title

They are asking for $45k

1LT, 40K miles.
$45K sounds a little high.

Oh okay. What do you think is a fair price?

Price is in range. C7's have skyrocketed as of late. Location matters.

I paid $48k for a 2015 with 25k miles, M7, Z51, 2lt in March. Laguna Blue tint coat with carbon flash trim/badges.

Thank you all for the responses! Feels a little crazy paying almost $50k out the door for an almost 7 year old car. It’s a beauty though! Thanks again.

Since they're asking 45K, offer 42. Maybe you'll get it for that, or at least maybe a little below 45. Can't hurt to ask!

Best of luck whatever you do!

Maybe a tad high, but not out of the ball park.

Corvettes have increased in price more than any other used car in recent years. But owning one can change your life. I have owned four over the past 19.5 years and no other car has gotten me as many compliments. My Stingray motivates me to get out of bed on time, even early, so I can drive it to work. I have never washed a car as much as I have my Corvettes.

I always go to the Cargurus website and do a search on similar cars to get a feel for current market prices.

As many have said, the price seems in line with prices seen lately, but a low ball offer is warranted. My concern would be the chain of ownership with four owners in five or six years. Definitely get a thorough pre purchase inspection from and INDEPENDENT shop you trust. Too many hands in the cookie jar for me.

About right. Car looks like it has a few mods on it. I have a 2015 White Z51 with 23,000 miles and I would ask about the same.

Default Thanks All

Thank you all for your input. I decided to not purchase the vehicle due to its multiple owners, and inspecting to find that the guy probably beat it (one of the tires had a gash, and the interior was dirty). He only owned it for about 7 months but I can tell it wasn’t the most babied car in the world. I’m sure it would be fine, but for $43k (negotiated down), I rather keep looking for a cleaner example. Not to mention used car prices are insane, I might just buy a new corvette instead. Thanks again!
