I have a GMPP plan that I purchased seven years ago and it will run out at the end of October. Is it possible to extend it for another 3 years?

I have one and I don't believe it can be extended. You have one shot at it so you try and get the most coverage you can afford. Others can pitch in their understanding!

Your GMPP (now called Chevrolet Protection Plan, unless they've changed the name yet again) probably can't be renewed. There are a few other similar plans, the Ally plans are very similar in coverage and cost to GMPP. Biggest difference back in 2017 when we bought our car, was that Ally did not cover the Mag Ride shocks. That may have changed, get a copy of the exclusions list to compare with your GMPP. Price shop different dealers for the same plan.

I too do not think you are going to be able to extend the plan - I was told that I could not extend the one I have on my 2014 (GM changed the rules in the last couple of years).

Try Ally and see what they can offer.

I talked to Dennis Fichtner up in Montana just last week and yes you can buy an extended warranty from GM again, starting September 1st.
However, he can only sell back to 2015 models and of course I have a 2014. I did not get into any specifics after he said only
back to '15 but give him a call and see what he's got. 406-698-6355.

So as long as you have a 15 or newer that has an extended service plan on it that hasn't expired, you can re-extend it starting September 1st? Or even one that has expired? Either way that's good news.
