I'm no expert by any means, but if you're looking for something that will function like the factory system, I don't think you'll find it. I believe NavTool offers "a" way of getting Apple CarPlay, but it doesn't work like a factory system. I did the upgrade to my 2014 C7 back in 2016 for $895.00 and did the labor myself and to me it was worth every penny! Good luck!

Everytime I've considered this I've talked myself out of it because I realize that more than likely I would just be using it for GPS. It's only my opinion of course but I wouldn't want to spend 500-1000 dollars when I can use my phone on the Proclip connect via bluetooth and obtain the same functionality.
Maybe you guys can help me understand what all other features are great with Car Play that I'm missing.

I love having Waze running on the main screen. with my phone still able to be used for whatever. and can flip from Waze to radio screen like normal.
That being said I never spent the money on the upgrade just researched it and cheeped out. then shopped only 2016+ Z06 cars so it would come with it.
