Default C7 Frames - Is there a difference?

Greetings,

I am currently rebuilding a 2017 C7 Grand Sport - Collectors Edition from co-part, and it was in a front end accident. The issue is I am rebuilding this on a budget, and looking at frames from the stingray, z06's and whatnot. My question is this:

Are all the C7 frames similar if not the same? I'm just trying to make sure if I buy a stingray that has burn damage or flooded, that everything will line up with no issues, along with the fender brackets for fitment.

Well, the GS is called a Widebody for a reason. That will probably cause some complications matching a Stingray front end to it.

Well that is a factor I am trying to take into consideration. Would it not be the fenders themselves be a size difference? The stingray vs grand sport fenders are different, I agree, however I'd like to know if someone has seen the difference between the two.

according to one of many online parts catalogs all the front end frame pieces are the same no matter SR GS or Z06

the wheel well liners are different between SR and widebodies

you will have to use widebody fenders as the aperture panel around the door opening wont line up with SR fenders

the front bumper cover is the same between all models

Thank you for that. I already have GS fenders, but knowing that the frames are the same, that'll be one less thing to worry about.

The frames are the same. The suspension and brakes parts are different for a Stingray, Z51 optioned Stingray, Grand Sport, Z06 and ZR1.

Are you sure that frames are the same for all C7?
