How do you add stabilizer to your gas tank? Is there a certain funnel you can use?
Use the funnel shown above which should have come with your car. However, you can use any long narrow neck funnel that fits in the receptacle inside the fuel filler. They can be purchased at most auto parts stores and more than likely Walmart.
To use any gasoline additive you have to remember there are two gas tanks in the car. When the car is being operated the passenger side tank empties first, followed by the driver's side tank, When filling the tanks the driver's side fills first, followed by the passenger side. When using the additive wait until the gas gauge reads 1/4 full. That means the driver's side tank is about half empty. Add one-half of your additive and then fill the tanks until the gas gauge reads between 1/2 and 3/4 full then add the rest of your additive followed by topping off the tank with gasoline.
I just top my fuel off no Stabil for me.. no problems as of yet from Winter storage. . I think if you use Stabil get the 360 newer stuff for newer cars

Thanks for the info guys. I was trying to put the car up quick for the winter, and I didn’t get the funnel with my car. I was trying to add stabilizer to the tank from a 1quart size bottle at the gas station with no luck. I then remembered I had this also, it worked well with the long spout.

Good advice by Bill above and if you did not get one of the funnels with the car, you can get one from a dealer or check with an auto parts store and see what they may have.
The factory funnel is useful for fueling from a can, for adding Stabil, for adding Techron/GM Fuel Treatment, and for neatly adding oil to your engine on a trip if no oil funnel available.
Where would that funnel be found (guessing trunk, under the carpet?). Don't think mine came with one (its also missing whatever item lives in the styrofoam mat atop the battery). I've been using a long-neck funnel that hangs in my garage.
I believe that while the car is running, gas is being siphoned from the passenger side gas tank to the driver’s side. So as long as you drive the car for a few miles it doesn’t matter how full the tank is when you add the stabilizer.

No, it is siphoned out of the passenger tank and fed directly to the engine high pressure fuel pump. There isn't a lot of mixing other than the small amount of gas from the driver's side tank the pump uses to siphon the gas out of the passenger side tank.
