Default Can you ID this??

So it’s been raining here in north texas pretty heavy.
I use my c7 as a daily driver to work 5 miles away. When I returned from work today I noticed this stain in my garage where I park the car every night. Again this was after heavy rain. Can you help with what it is. It’s not oil and I checked all of my fluids everything’s good except not knowing what this stain is from. It began to dry by the time I arrived and took these pics. Thanks in advance for your help.

Doesn’t look like any fluid from the car, looks like mud. What’s it smell like?

it smells like nothing. And I hope it is just dirt that the rain cleaned out after I parked? 🤷‍♂️

That’s what it looks like. Wait and see what it looks like after it dries. If it’s dirt/sand then it was just mud. No other fluids in the car would evaporate. Maybe the coolant would but that for sure doesn’t look like coolant unless it got mixed with oil which would be a huge problem.

Does look a lot like mud. You’ll have a better idea when/if it dries out.

Sure looks like mud to me. Maybe you had some build up of dirt underneath somewhere and all that rain just washed it away and turned to mud. IDK keep us informed.

I’ve concluded this is just dirt there’s no continuous leaks I’m assuming I just drove through some puddles with dirt thanks for your help it was weird that it did dry up and had no oily texture

If you washed it out and it washed out easy, then it could not be any oily or petroleum product.

Yeah, with all the heavy rain here, you just got a good water blast bath on the bottom side. I saw something similar under my DD.

I bought this to clean the underside of our cars after they salt the rads here or if I drove through mud. Works well and easy to use and store.

Have someone younger smell it... if no smell that's the give away, nothing of consequence. Btw, smell sensitivity, especially to some things in particular, tends to lessen with age.
