I installed the C7 Stingray Z06 S2 wickers from ACS. It was a little nerve racking trying to get their templet where it needed to be and then just the thought of drilling in to the Z51 spoiler. You do need to be right on the money with all the holds. But I took my time and got it done. I do suggest you have someone there to help in making sure the wicker is lined out properly. Next step is to paint the spoiler in the carbon flash.
Nice job! If you think drilling into your Z51 spoiler is nerve racking, you should try it on a base Stingray which doesn't have a spoiler to begin with. Then, you drill into your rear fascia. That was nerve racking!
If you used the wicker template, you can buy the “Polycarbonate wicker bridge” on eBay from the extreme online store, which fits perfectly! Make sure you get the polycarbonate bridge and not the ABS version!
If you decide to get one, just make sure you buy replacement screws, as the tappered ones that come with the wickers are to short, and will strip the threads on the inserts. Trust me…I know! I was sweating bullets! The wicker bridge in the picture is the factory tint.
