Default Headlights shaking

I've noticed my headights shake and vibrate more than they should when i go over bumps in the road. I've found multiple threads talking about it. I haven't seen anyone finding the problem or having a fix for it. Has anyone had and fixed this issue?

Sounds like some mounting points are loose. I would remove the front bumper and look

Have you tried going to high beam and low beam to see a difference. Theory - there are louvers (for a lack of a better term) that switch between high and low. If its loose you may be getting a shaking light effect.

I never use my high beams. I'll have to try that next time i get it out at night.

When driving at night the human eye uses different sensors in the eye to see things going from rods to cones. When using cones our color vision is reduced, objects seem dimmer even when lit with artificial light and become harder to differentiate from the background. At 60 mph you are overdriving the distance you can see using low beams (passing beams) and have a good chance of hitting whatever suddenly see. Add in things that are dark colored and your vision is severely degraded from daytime levels. At 60 mph you are traveling 88 ft/sec, at 70 mph you are traveling at 103 ft/sec. Based on various studies it takes 198 ft to stop a car from 50 mph, 268 ft from 60 mph and 348 ft from 70 mph which includes the person's wetware reaction (time/distance) as well as the car's hardware stopping distance. That pretty much uses up or exceeds your viewable distance in front of the car. If there isn't a car in front of you or heading toward you, you should always use the high beams (standard) for driving. They will about double the range you can see and provide the extra time required to avoid objects in your way.

I have the same problem. Finally took my wheel off and took a look. The headlight was so loose, but it was really only noticeable when pushing from the backside. Pretty sad I used zip ties to fix the loose headlight housing.
