Trunk power

Found broken wire so trunk now will power close but won’t pop up with any button. Any suggestions

Use the key (manual lock located by the license plate light) to pop the trunk and repair the wire. How did you locate the broken wire?

Fixed wire and it powers down as it should but won’t pop up

Whatever broke the errant wire/connection may have damaged some other connection or component(s). That's where I'd start, especially since these wires being out and loose is not typical, requiring unusual circumstances to make them so. All the best.

So would a separate wire release the trunk

Is my trunk suppose to close without me pushing it shut '15 C7? I had an '05 and a'12 and I think they closed with just a slight finger push help me out on this

Walter, 14 and 15's did not offer the soft close feature
