Default Map light replacement directions?

Looking for some help.

My driver side map light went out.

Anyone have knowledge of how to replace this light and where to buy a replacement bulb?

Thanks in advance

You can find replacement LED lamps on ebay. Don't remember the bulb number nor vendor but there are plenty of sellers.

Looks similar to other cars. Those little indentations should be press clips. Take a small flat head & pry them inward & the lens should pop out. Maybe...

Thanks! I figured it out. All that work for nothing, the light is an LED that is part of a fixture that is non-replaceable.

What? A non replaceable fixture? So does that mean you (or anyone else experiencing the same) are stuck with a permanently inoperable light?

The fixture could be replaced as a unit, or you could find a similar LED bulb and solder it into the holder.
I was just looking to change the color of the light. I have an idea about that.
I will let you know how it turns out!

Sorry, the LED bulb is not readily replaceable without the work I mentioned.

OK, so is the whole assembly just a plug-in and snaps back in place? LED bulbs are like; very, very loong life bulbs.

Like I said before, I just wanted to change the color of the bulbs. I hoped that they would be replaceable like the rest of the lighting.
You must pull the windshield header piece to have decent access to the lighting fixtures.
