Just wanted to post up to say hello to everyone and say thanks for all the knowledge gained so far about this car. First off the car, 2016 Stingray Z51 A8 that my Bro-in-law ordered and purchased brand new. Him and I spent a lot of time together working on it throughout the years installing full exhaust (ARH mid-lengths, Borla X, and Borla axle-back), Z06 grill, and ported TB/intake. It ended up laying down 429/429 when tuned by Pat G.

Sadly my Bro-in-law was diagnosed with esophagus cancer Jan 2023 and passed away in September. He was a member here, but I don’t know what his member name was. Anyway, he left the car to me and I plan to take care of it and never sell it.

My sons and I just completed a Magnuson 2650 install along with a Corsa carbon intake, and motion raceworks catch can. Car will be tuned locally by Patrick Griffin at Pats performance. I’m hopeful that the stock fuel system is adequate, but we shall see. Anyway here are a few pictures.

Beautiful car and I'm sorry for the loss of your brother in law. My father passed away from the same thing just last Wednesday. Enjoy and drive the car in his honor, it's great you both were able to share those times together.

So sorry for your loss. Cancer can kiss my A**

The memories and this car are all I have left. Thanks for the kind words.

He certainly would be. I just wish he could have seen it with the Magnuson sitting between the heads. Life isn’t fair sometimes though. Thanks for the kind words.

I guess we’ll find out soon. I don’t plan to drive it until it gets tuned. The supplied calibration from Magnuson is for an otherwise bone stock car so I don’t think it would be safe to send it as is. Thank you

He did. I cared for his car all these years just as well as he did. I’m honored to have received it.

Well, I’m no stranger to fast cars and trucks, but I’ve always rolled in fast Fords. This is my very first Chevrolet in my 30 year driving history. I had an 88 5.0 coupe through high school, 94 Ford lightning, 02 Ford lightning, and a 03 cobra. Kind of got into motorcycles after that, but my plan was to get a 2020 GT500 when this happened so I had to supercharge it.
