Technically, no. But the higher bypass pressure is unlikely to cause a problem.

Your C7 came with the PF64 oil filter (latest part number: GM Part # 19386865 (case of 12), individual latest part number: GM Part # 25206377).

However, the UPF64R is ok to use (latest part number: GM Part # 12699847). Although this filter's bypass pressure is around 35 psi compared to the PF64's of about 22 psi, the ACDelco/GM website shows the UPF64R as an optional filter for the C7 LT1 and LT4 engines.

They're like $7 at Walmart. That's easiest for me to pick one up. Rockauto.com has them for around $4 apiece, but there's a shipping cost - might work out if you're buying several.
