Can the chrome Crossed-flags emblem on the front and back of the 2019 Grand Sport easily be replaced with the more subdued crossed-flags emblem for the C7?
I think the subdued emblems might look better on a Watkins Glen Gray... wondered if this an easy DIY project ?
What about the "Corvette" wording on the rear... easily replaced with the subdued version? chrome emblem and Corvette wording
All the emblems and lettering are easy to remove and replace. Make a template for the lettering before removal. Let car sit in sun then use fishing line underneath to cut off. Then remove adhesive with auto goo off. Plus if you google this there are countless videos on doing this.
The easiest way to remove emblems. Get some braided fishing line and use it as a wire saw. The braided line is way stronger than mono filament line. The harder part is removing sticky glue. goo gone works.

I used a Plastic pry tool to lift the corners or edges and puled the rest with my finger. Not hard at all.
The foam underneath will roll away with your fingers, then clean up with goo gone. Don't use a rubber wheel to remove adhesive. It is not designed for plastic surfaces. Don't ask how I leaned that. LOL...
Replacements are spaced correctly to replace removed ones. With a Template before you remove the old ones, your replacements with drop right in.
The flags have only one indented place to go. A no brainer.
The word CORVETTE and Fender Stingrays are optional to put back in. I have seen it done either way. IMHO, it looked better with them, so I put them back in.
I changed all the emblems from Chrome to Carbon Flash.
Don't cheap out on aftermarket stuff. It's all junk. Tempting but junk.
Spend the extra scratch to get OEM GM parts. They're not cheap. I think they're about $350 for the whole set.
As Corvettezman noted the "subdued" logos are all part of what GM calls the Carbon Flash package which included the CF painted hood vent (below) spoiler, wicker bills, logos and side skirts. Some wheels and mirrors (as shown) are painted CF as well. Good luck. The hard part is deciding which ones to put back.
Do not buy the cheap non OEM Carbon Flash badges if you do. They will fade and are not a match to the originals. I learned the hard way when OEM CF badges were on backorder. I fixed that problem last month.
I found it very easy to replace the emblems. I used automotive painters tape around all of the emblems for a template of where the old ones went and to prevent scratching when using fishing line to remove the emblems. The two cross flag emblems have indents in the body where they are supposed to go, but the lettering does not. The lettering is the only challenging part as it came in multiple pieces and had no indents for guiding placement. I places small pieces of painters tape to divide where the letters went so that I could free hand it accurately. When removing the old adhesive, I used my fingers to scrape and a solution of 50% alcohol and 50% water (as the service manuals recommended) to remove the old adhesive and to prep the surface for new adhesive. Make sure to use alcohol to ensure there is no residue on the surface or the new badge will not stick correctly. Hope this helps.
Black was an option and an obvious choice for my black St'ray... along with removal of the "Corvette" script and the silly rays on the sides that look like stylized electric guitars. Btw, my granaddaughter painted those purple with green and orange polka-dots: a big improvement.
