I have a '16 LT1 and it didn't come with a camera for the front. Have any of you had any luck with one of the curb alert devices? I checked out Curb Alert on Amazon and it did not sound like a good choice. Are any others that have been used any good
?
Mine works perfect , the secret is in the setup which is clearly explained in a video, if you follow the setup to a T you will not have any false alarms! 😉
I have had mine for a year now and it has never false alarmed or never failed to warn me that I was about to crush my spoiler if I kept pulling forward
Feel free to email me or PM if u have any questions
How about the front camera instead? I have seen one for sale that works through the screen inside but it looks like a lot of on your knees under the dash work. I'm not worried so much for myself but one of my family might drive until it hits which is what most people do.

Do you have a link to the one you found that works through the screen inside?
I put a WIFI one on my 2019 that sends the image to an old iPhone that I keep in the cubby behind the infotainment screen, works OK but you have to remember to drop the screen and turn the iPhone on as you are parking. It works but is not as user friendly as I would like.
I have it on my C6, and it once you sent it up, and align very accurate to the curb, easy to install, less then 30 minutes and WORKS!

It's all about the setup ,to low and it will false alarm ... to high and it will pickup more than just curbs . The setup video is very comprehensive and tells you to use a the box as the target , I had a tape measure extended and moved the box to the recommended distance and adjusted the sensor. Once setup it works perfect
This is the YouTube installation and if you read below the video it will direct you to his installation. I also found a company that sells the entire setup so that you don't have to buy separate parts as this guy did. It is about $360 for the kit.
