Default C7 questions

have seen guys swiping the screen to the left for more apps or icons. Mine doesn't do that. Is there a year or trim level that allows you to swipe the screen over? Also, I went to check my AFM defeater and I had trouble finding the V4-V8 display mode. Is it in the info mode? One last thing. My steering wheel has a flat side but I have seen some with round steering wheels, is that a year thing or do they all have a flat side?
Thanks

Flat bottom steering wheel 2016+. Prior was round.

Edit: 2015+ Z06 had flat bottom steeriing wheel, which other trims adopted in 2016+.

I have the V4, V8 logo in my display although the V4 is tuned out. the V4 never comes on on my current car but it has on previous ones.
It's in the instant MPG/ miles to empty screen so my guess that it is in the info screen. Once there in the info screen, arrow down with the right steering controller until you see it.
I believe it goes to Odo A, Odo B, then the MPG screen.

My 2014 has a round steering wheel. And I think you should find the V4/V8 indicator in the info set of screen as mentioned above.

Thanks for the info. I am still puzzled by my screen not being able to be swiped left or right like I see in the C7 videos. I wonder if it is a year thing or a trim level.

If you don't have enough icons to have another screen, then it can not be swiped.

How do I add an icon? I use my iPhone most of the time and use the ones on it so I haven't tried to add an icon.

If your car is a 1LT, then you probably don't have the extra icons.

To create a screen to the right. Press and hold an icon. Then while still pressing it, slide it to the right. You will then have created another page with at least that one icon on it.

I found that swiping my '18 screen takes more pressure than any other touch-screen I've ever encountered. Just a thought.
