Until there's manual transmission offering for the C8 platform I will forever place my interests in keeping a manual C7 over an automatic C8. I love being able to drive this car, feel like i'm in control of it and I feel I would quickly become bored in an automatic. Solely my opinion and for this, I wouldn't suggest getting rid of your c7 for a c8. Also, as others have said, for a car that's been hooned by everyone test driving it, the ease of transporting cars across the country from other dealers, I think their price is high.

I don't know about prices... not my thing, but if you are asking about it being a "pre-production" car used for special purposes, that may be a good thing. It could have been more carefully monitored during assembly than one that later standard production cars. Plus, it may well have had attention to maintenance that otherwise would be a coin-toss guess if no history came with the car. But, of course ultimately it's your call. All the best.

IF THE PRICE IS RIGHT (for car and your trade-in) and if this C8 is spec'd to how you want it PLUS warranty, then GIT R DONE.
