Caliper covers never look as good as the original calipers even if the original calipers are crap. They are obviously fake and do nothing to enhance the look of the car.

JMO, but I would not put caliper covers on my Corvette. They just do not look fitting for a nice sports car. Get the calipers powdercoated or paint them with a good caliper paint kit. There is a forum vendors that offers a caliper exchange program if you would be interested in a nice set of powdercoated calipers, which would look so much better on the car, albeit a more expensive option.
I agree, powder coat them, covers okay for an SUV or plain jane ride as long as you don't do the silly AF fake bolts.. but a sports car with nice calipers already?? Umm.. ABSOFREAKINLUTELY NO!
I changed my calipers from black to red. Swapped them from TPS Motorsports. New for new. So glad I did. Aside from the cheap way covers look can you imagine if one came off bc the brake/wheel got hot and it scratched up the wheel, wheel well and possibly the quarter panel as it goes flying off? No thanks. Caliper covers are like girls stuffing their bras imo
I painted mine with a brush with G2 caliper paint looked great 3 years later Look on youtube
I used G2 paint on a 5 th gen Camaro that I owned and a C6. Came out great. It's a self leveling paint that encapsulates the caliper as it dries. Once you open the can and add the activator, you have about 4 hours to use it. The left over paint turned to a " hockey puck " in the can.
I'm going to post my standard answer whenever this question comes up: The problem with caliper covers is they look like caliper covers.
You drive a Corvette, don't cheapen the looks with caliper covers. If you can't afford to powder coat them, then paint them yourself with a pint of ceramic caliper paint
you can purchase from eBay. Anything would look a lot better than caliper covers.
