So I bought my vette about 3 months ago. I noticed it had led strips in the grill, around the exhaust and engine bay. There is also a little indicator light on the center console. However, I could not find the switch to turn them on. I tried turning on the running lights and every button inside the car. The dealer had no idea. Doing some online searching, it looks like it's popular to have it controlled via Bluetooth with some app. Any idea what app to use? I don't know whose kit it is. This is just a shot in the dark.
To be honest, I don't really care for the lights but I'm now curious to see how it looks.
Most of those LED light kits come with a remote control. If not then they would have wired them to a switch, but the location would have been up to the owner.

yea, that is what I was afraid of. I guess I'll keep crawling around trying to find how they turn on.
To see if it has Bluetooth, I would try doing a Bluetooth pair on your phone to see if it picks it up with the exterior lights on. The exhaust light probably taps into the side markers.
You might be able to figure out which app you would need if you know the brand. It might tell you in the Bluetooth broadcast or at least yield a clue.
See if you can find where they hook up to. Each LED strip should have a power source. I had some LED's hooked to the driving lights, maybe someone unhooked them.

If it isn't BT, the remote is somewhere.
I will give that a shot, but I have no idea the brand. May look under the seat to see if the remote fell there. 🤞

Whelp, no joy on Bluetooth. Checked with the car on and off. Even used a Bluetooth sniffer. Picked up the fob but nothing else... and no remote under the seat or button anywhere. I guess I'll come back to it when I do some interior work.

It still could be but it isn't getting power. The systems I have seen wire into adjacent power sources and the Bluetooth is just for changing colors, power-up lighting styles, etc.
For your exhaust lights, they typically wire into the side markers and that's it. No switch, remote, or anything. I'm willing to bet that your lighting isn't an all-in-one kit and they are all separate systems that are either switched or disconnected from the power source. The only LED light systems I am a fan of on these cars are the interior footwell kits that can keep the theater light-up effect.
follow you hot wire to the control box of the light kit. there should be a qr code on the box ... scan it with your phone and it will install the correct app You can also look for this app ledcar00... i install light kits.. this app works with alot of them
