Completed the replacement of all speakers except for the rear subwoofer. Installed Infinity Reference series all around. Bose is definitely a second-class citizen in the auto speaker world. The sound is now 100%+ improved. Very happy with the result. Crutchfield does need to up their understanding of C7 Corvette speaker world as they were indicating that door woofers were not available that would fit. They were partly correct, but it just took a little creative engineering to get a pair to fit properly. I was able to install Infinity REF1000S speakers in the doors and they sound great. All in all, I could not be more pleased, and the project came in at around $800 so not too bad for the great results!!!

All speakers except for the rear sub-woofer were replaced. There was a little bit of work/time involved since Crutchfield did not have any adapters for the C7 speakers to Infinity. I had to cut the factory connectors away and splice in appropriate ends to connect to the speakers. The only speakers that had a harness adapter were the rear side speakers. I used Posi-Product connectors to alleviate the splicing process. They worked well. Made for quick connections that are strong and reliable.
Parts List:
Infinity REF-3032CFX Upper Doors and Center Dash X 3
Infinity REF-375TX Dash Corner Tweeters X 2
Infinity REF-6532EX Rear Side Speakers X 2
Infinity REF-1000S Door Woofers X 2
Total: $817.00
I installed Infinity speakers paired with a 5 ch Pioneer amp and a 10" Kicker sub in my last Vette, a C5, when I overhauled the entire system. I started from scratch on that one, head unit and all.
When that sucker was thumping the side mirrors would shake so much, they would become unusable.
Good to know you can simply swap the speakers for better sound. In my C5, I had more work to do with a custom double-din head unit, special harness and new speakers/subwoofer to replace the OEM Bose system.
Agree that Infinity is light years better than Bose and although I love my 19 Z06, the OEM audio sound leaves much to be desired. I didn't buy it for the stereo buy I still like to listen to good music while driving, especially on long, highway road trips.
What were the other Infinity speaker models that you used besides the door speakers? In total, without the sub-woofer, however many speakers did you replace?

Thanks. How difficult was the center dash speaker swap?
Thanks for posting this! Looks like I have another project. The factory system isn't horrible, but not great either. Any pics or write up on the install would be greatly appreciated!

The center speaker was not difficult. Easiest of all to do. Now the corners were another story. The visors come off as do the A-Pillars. All doable just a little more work. If you purchase speakers from Crutchfield, they include a very good instruction manual with good detail and notes. If not they sell them stand alone for $10. Worth it...

I don't know why so many consider Bose to be 'high end". I've never been impressed with the sound quality. Maybe 50 years ago when the 901's came out they were innovative, or they were able to extract spacious sound from compromised equipment ... but as for sound quality I've always felt it was hollow and 'flat' compared to their competitors.
Doing some research on these. Life in Speed Mike Angels on YT speaks highly of these speakers. Plays them side by side with Bose and other brands. Only looked at his reviews of the 6.5" and 3.5", but has nothing but praise for the Infinity's. looking for reviews of the others as well. Dis you put capacitors on any of your speakers?
I'll also say, significant savings to be had via Amazon.
Looks like a very nice upgrade for not a ton of $$
The tweeters include installable in-line capacitors and some of the others have capacitors soldered on. The 3.5" have them soldered on. Infinity is a very good brand, have used them for several past cars. I used them in my old C6.
