Been wanting one of these since seeing in mentioned on CF. Gotta say, loved reading this book. Gives me an entirely new appreciation and better understanding of the C7. The techonology, uses of a few exotic alloys, the genuine efforts given, and allowed, by Chevrolet. For me, the reason I went with the C7 was the interior, much nicer than the C6. This book dives into that. Take aways?
Ferrari is the reason the C7 has Michelin as OEM tires
Seat frames are magnesium
Z51 turns faster lap times than a C6 GS despite having smaller tires.
Chevrolet solicited every GM studio, world wide, for conceptual drawings of the car. Kid from Buick in China was chosen for his design of the interior. Over 300 submissions
Track mode dash was a near lift from C6.R
Z51 has more technology than some European "supercars"
These cars really are amazing. I suppose what makes them so much so is that they work so well as a daily driver, their capabilities remain hidden. Incredible fuel economy from a 460 hp engine, rev match, eLSD. Haven't even ridden in a C8, no doubt they are amazing cars, but the C7 isn't hanging its head down anytime soon. Still stands tall with the best of them.
Most likely this one? I've looked for but not found any other C7-specific books. This one is great. Out-of-print, we got ours either on Amazon or ebay, can't recall which.

This book shows to still be available in hardcover on Amazon. Price is a little over $40.00.
When I tried to find it a couple of years ago, it didn't seem to be available anywhere, and has been out of print for some time. I eventually emailed the author, Larry Edsall, and he kindly mailed me a copy. Super nice guy...and I agree with earlier comments that it's an excellent book.
I have a large collection of Corvette books as I've owned them for 40 years...C3, C5 and now C7. There were many books on C3's and C5's back in their day, but other than Larry's book and the one below, there don't seem to be any others for the C7.
I agree with all of the reviews above. Excellent read and the only one completely focused on the C7. Don't have a copy? Better move fast. Out of print...
My favorite Corvette read is “All Corvettes Are Red” by James Schefter. He was embedded at GM during the C5’s development. Really a deep dive into the process. It outlines how the car was developed, how insanely convoluted the GM process was/is and how the Corvette was nearly cancelled at several critical points in its development. It has real insights into how tight the budgets were and how hard the team fought to make the C5 the world class car that it was.

Agreed that was a great book...got it back when I had my C5. Come to think of it, I lent it to my C4 buddy a decade ago and it hasn't found its way back to my bookshelf yet! Have to remind him about that next time I see him.

Yes, that is a very interesting book. I have a copy. Schefter saw the wheels fall off of his marriage while working on that book.

I bought my copy at Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, which often has books about Corvettes.
