My 2017 Stingray has an A&A Supercharger installed along with ARH headers and Catless X-Pipe. I installed all these and had it tuned in May 2023 and the car has driven flawless since. However, last week the car threw a "Too Lean Bank 1" and "Too Lean Bank 2" codes. I am positive that I dont have any vacuum leaks or exhaust leaks. I cleared the codes with my scan tool and took it driving doing some pretty aggressive pulls and also some cruising around town and the CEL did not come back on. A couple days later I was in a parking lot and some random kid asked to hear my car rev up, So I revved it up to about 4000 RPM's while in park and the CEL came back on. So I cleared it once again and drove it casually home about 15 miles. When I got home I again put in park and revved the engine and I could not get the CEL to come back on. I am fairly picky about putting either Shell or Chevron gas in my tank, however about 2 weeks ago I put SAM's Club gas in because I was really really close to running out of gas and I was there. So my question is, could bad gas cause an intermittent Lean code? Im going to pull the MAF sensor and see if it needs cleaning just incase. What do you guys think?
Why would it run lean? Too much air? I would think a massive amount of air in the intake or maybe the MAF is going out?
It was suggested to me by someone else to look at the MAF sensor to see if its dirty and to clean it if it is dirty. If its not dirty, I may replace it just incase it is on the fritz.
