I stayed with the OEM tires. Had them mounted at Hendrick Chevrolet in Cary, NC. Hendrick does a lot of Corvette work. They have to change tires on their used cars without damaging the car or the rims. They know what they're doing.
I bought a set of Michelin AS4/ZP tires from our local Big O tire store. It took them one day to order them. They insisted I hang out with the installer while they put them on my 2016 Stingray. They were very careful. I also take my Corvette there for oil & filter changes, so they know me.
I switched to the new C8 standard tire which is this Michelin AS4s a year ago for my 2019 Z06. I am very happy with them. Got caught in a heavy rain storm on the freeway this week and the tires did well at freeway speed. Discount Tire gets all of my business over the past 25 years.

Depending on how well you trust your dealer's service department, they can do the work for you. I had my dealer do mine last time and they did a great job.

This is what I have on my 2017 Z06.
I am lucky to have a Corvette specialty shop in my town, so that's who installed them.
I've bought from Tire Rack and had them shipped to dealer but dealer prices have gotten much better. You have to make sure whatever shop you use is well experienced with Vettes.
