I have consistently used cQuartz UK 3.0. I use it because it's relatively available to non-professionals and has performed well for me. During my research on cermaics, most require the same brand or similar car wash concentrate and some kind of after wash ceramic spray to "touch up" the coating between washes. I am sure some of the more professional coatings may be more forgiving in that regard but should still require some kind of regular maintenance of the coating to last the warrantied period. I park in a garage, never drive in rain and keep up with the washes and refresh spray and I have had good longevity results.

There are dozens of ceramic coatings out there, I would say 3-5 years is about typical. Three if driven more, 5 if garage kept and not driven so much, then you'll want to have it taken off and redone. This is assuming you wash it with the correct products and otherwise touch it as little as possible.

I put mine on my 2019 right when I got it in Dec 2018, and the nose needs to be redone now. I may be doing that this spring. My 88 gets driven less and it'll probably last 7 years on the car.

Depends on the brand and environment the car is being exposed to. There are various "guarantees" anywhere up to lifetime like with CeramicPro 9h.

We cannot tell you how often you'll have to re-apply or touch-up. Check the with the retailer or shop of your selected brand.

Most professionally applied ceramic coatings will come with a guarantee of anywhere from 3-9 years depending on the product, but they all require at least a once-a-year trip back to your detailer. The detailers I know do not charge for this touchup as it was all built into the original price. As for the non-professional products there are many. I happen to use Adams Detail products. He offers a full-on ceramic coating and a spray coating in both the standard ceramic and the graphene. One think about the spray on, it is not sprayed onto the car surface, but it is applied much like the longer lasting coatings. That is, it is sprayed onto a foam micro-fiber applicator and then applied to the surface in the standard cross hatch method. I do about half the hood at a time. They claim it is good for three years, but again you need to maintain it with their detail ceramic products much like the others.
A lot of people shy away because of the professional's cost, but in reality, the cost is in the pre work of getting the paint corrected. even a brand-new car will need some amount of correction, but you can apply the ceramic to an uncorrected finish but the results as far as shine will not be the same as a finish that has been fully corrected or even simply polished first. You will still have the ceramic protection..
