I recently installed EOS diffuser fins, one fin left a gap significant enough to bug me. Has anyone experienced this and come up with a solution. I have heard one person used black Caulking then painted it carbon flash. Has anyone experimented with any solutions.
I have EOS fins. In my case they slowly developed a gap and have shifted position outward a bit. I will eventually re-adjust them and use a different attachment method. Only the lower section of the bumper needs to be removed. It will allow the lower piece to come away, making it easier to reposition with better fasteners. A few steps, but better than the original install method. My OCD will soon demand it!

By the way, not sure I would do this method. Just my thought...

yeah i was getting exhaust installed so the rear section was removed anyways and that's when i installed them. Gap is annoying to me but no one else will ever notice or care, caulk seems extreme and may look bad.
I had the same issue, slight gaps annoyed me. Thought of a way to fix the gaps, but after months of putting it off, it doesn't bother me anymore. You can't see the gaps really from normal distance. l also installed the EOS stage 2 front splitter and the winglets aren't at perfect 90 degrees, but I knew after time I wouldn't care about it, was just happy to swap the poverty splitter with the better looking stage 2. Little things aren't worth the frustration, hammering the gas pedal and keeping the car out of a ditch is what I worry about, lol. Top of fins have slight gap at top fit. Slight tilt and edge gap
Did the hardware supplied actually fit the holes? I ordered the diffusers from EOS about 2 years ago and didn't install them because the screws just slipped into and out of the holes. Eos was responsive to my concern and sent another set of hardware that was exactly the same. I was unsuccessful finding any hardware that would work without altering the mounting holes so I returned them. (Sorry for the slightly off topic post)
I am not sure about EOS fins but I installed ACS fins. What I did was get longer screws and get some fender washers. The larger surface area of he fender washer allowed me to tight tighten the screws a bit tighter thereby removing the gap. Best of luck

I'm probably going to this. I figured some larger washers would do it.
I am looking to buy the lower bumper with the diffusers already built in. I would like to know if anyone has installed them. and what brand did they use and how the fit was. Much appreciate any help you can give me already installed the individual diffusers and do not like the look.
Mine were ACS, and I had some gaps and had to add extra screws to tighten every up. I would imagine the EOS, are pretty much the same. I don’t see a big difference.
I removed the bumper cover and did on the kitchen table. Wife was not happy, but a lot easier than doing on the car. Came out pretty good and they are on there pretty solid. Also used a little trim tape between the screws.
When I received my EOS diffuser fins, with the very first oneI pulled out of the box, the mounting plate fell off. The other three seemed secure.
It was obvious whick fins are right side vs. left. I thought I would temporarily mount thr right side with that clear, removeable double sided tape.
On th back of the fins, tow were labeled "left" and two, "R".
It was immediately obvious that EOS or their Shineese manufacturers, screwed up.
The "R" is upside down. I have to mount the right ones on the left and vise versa.

After several years the caulk has held up great. No matter how hard I tried I could not get the fitment any better than I got it and they were ACS diffusers. The only way that I saw to eliminate the gap was with black caulk. I went to Home Depot , bought a tube of black caulk, after putting it on I wet my finger to smooth it out and then painted it carbon flash metallic. You really can’t tell I did it especially at that viewing angle.. If you do it make sure you buy paintable caulk…Good luck!
I just installed EOS fins and have very little gaps immediately after install. I bought fender washers as well. I also noticed the labels are backwards. I installed an L on the drivers side and it was crooked as hell. Installed the other L on passenger and it looked much better.

Do you recall the overall diameter of the washers that you used?
Thanks!
