Default MPSS tires question

I have a 2017 Stingray with 18 in and 19 in MPSS tires. I have 14,500 miles on them. I always rotated them side to side. My tread depth is, fronts are 4/32 and the rears are 6/32. My tires are 7 years old. Rubber seems fine no cracks. I also live in a warmer climate (San Diego area).
I plan to stick with the GM spec'd MPSS (yes can still get them according to Michelin). Can I just replace the fronts and replace the rears at a later date. Any issue with that considering tire age? I don't track but do driver a little aggresivly through the mountain roads, only on dry warm days. Thanks for your input.

You'll be fine.

All your tires remain within Michelin's stated lifespan of ten years. They're also all above Michelin's stated minimum tread depth of 2/32", which is where the tread bars show. Obviously, you should not use tires that are older or more worn than that. Neither should you mix tire types, brands, etc, which you didn't suggest.

The Owner Manual suggests replacing C7 tires when they get to be 6 years old.
We had/have two sets of Michelin runflat wheels/tires, PSS for summer (autocrossing) and A/S for winter.
Both sets got to be 6 years old at about the same time, 4/32 or more tread remaining.
I replaced both sets with basically the same thing, except 6 years newer. I was quite surprised at how much the grip improved for acceleration/braking/cornering.
On a local grocery-getter, I might be willing to go beyond 6 years. But on a car that we sometimes run hard, I now consider 6 years to be the end point.

Those old tires will be rocks at this point. I picked my 2017 up with original tires at 10k miles December-2022 and they were dead despite having tread life. Really funny to drive on, made the LT1 feel like it had way more power with the traction control constantly kicking in.

I don't think you'll be at serious risk, just understand they will have the grip of a crappy all-season at best.

If it were my car, I would be looking at replacing all four tires soon.
