Is there any suggestions to change the color of a Kalahari interior so it looks less orangey or butterscotch and more tannish or Cashmere like a C6?
Love the car I want to buy but hate the Kalahari interior. (Actually the wife hates it) 😂
What year and what trim?
The trim and year will show how much Kalahari is in the car.
If it's a 2LT, you can find some leather covers on the cheap to turn it black.
A set of used door panels will set you back $1k and the other small pieces you will have to be patient to source them.
3LT will have a lot more Kalahari in it and it gets more complicated especially if it's a 2014 where the whole dash pad was this color.
I don't ever remember seeing tan as being an option on C7s , but I could be wrong.
Now Kalahari is a popular color. You just might find a member that will swap you interiors if your interior is as nice as his.
You can ask on the "for sale section"
I don't recommend dyeing your interior as it will generally not hold and not look as nice.

My ‘15 w/3LT came with the dash fully covered. I initially ordered black on black. My wife talked me into changing both colors. I was skeptical at first, but I think it looks “rich.”

If you hate kalahari, then why not buy one in a different interior color?
I believe interior color is really up to the individual. It was one of the selling points when I purchased mine a little over a year ago. I think it goes great with the Velocity Yellow exterior.
I wasn't positive about the Kalahari interior of my new(to me) but it "grew" on me. Now I think it's a nice accent/contrast to the blue. To each their own but if I didn't like the colors, I wouldn't buy it in the first place.
A change out is costly but I can almost guarantee that some forum member with the black/ebony interior would trade out for your interior components. The black/ebony is easy to care for and is a safe choice but so many cars use it that I’m kind of over it for now. Kalahari is not the most mainstream of choices but it has its supporters and you should have a fairly easy time locating some willing to swap.
Haven’t been able to find one I want with black or brown or grey interior.
What are you looking for specifically? There are tons of models for sale right now with the other interior colors. Kalahari is actually harder to find.
