c7 vibration on bumps

c7 vibration on bumps

Bought a 2016 c-7 z51 with mag ride and 10,000 miles on it. Put it up on hoist b-4 buying and everything appeared to be un molested. Driving home when I hit a small bump in the road the car would vibrate as if it was going over a series of small bumps. Wondering if anyone has some input as to what is happening. Appreciate any input.

Sounds like the classic C7 Shudder to me. If you have an A8 has the transmission been triple flushed? Check out this post at the top of the forum.

Have the tires checked and road force balanced. I just experienced this. Many threads on this. It could be as simple as needing balancing...

There is an issue with the shock mounts. If you only hear the noise when the shocks are worked, check the top and bottom mounts.
