I bought the 7000 model, not because of the Corvette but so that I could also lift and service my F-150 or Tahoe.

The 7000 is still small enough to use with the Corvette wheel base.

Appreciate the help guys, anybody have any idea about the jack stand question? Are the circular jack stands better at all than the regular ones?

I prefer the regular ones since sometimes I can hook it better and feel better than a round pad. Just my thought.

Depending on which engine you have, look at the drain-plug(s) and the relevant pan/tank. Lift so that is level and then drain it. For the base St'ray it takes a nearly level car to be close to ideal.

(I've a perfectly slanted driveway for this approach; preferred to my shop)
