I sold a part to someone on this forum, a new guy I should have been more careful. He isclaiming damages to something he has not opened and also statign it was not packaged, even though i sent him pre-shipment pic to which he replied PERFECT! He admitted alot of ignorance in the thread and I opffered SO much help and answered about a million questions, I want to send that to Paypal as a apart of my case.

So sorry this has happened to you. Was it for the exhaust parts you sold?

The only way I can think of to achieve what you want with the chat thread is fairly convoluted, but might be worth it if there are no other options.

Assuming you have a smartphone, for each 'page' of the chat:

Take a screen shot of the page.

From your photos, which is where the screeshot went, email the screenshot to your email address.

From your PC or laptop, open the email, download the screenshot, and save it in whatever folder you choose as a jpg file (it may prompt to save as a png file. Sometimes png files don't work too well for me).

When you have all the comversation screenshots saved, they can be emailed to PayPal as attachments.

...there may be an easier way. Best of luck. Hope you get positive results.

I ended up taking screen caps on my PC and saved them as a PDF to send to remediation. Once the case is settled, one way or the other, I will post the full chat thread and our text history.

Get on your PC. Right click on the page. Go to print. Change the destination to "Save as PDF"

When you sell something, you are supposed to get the money first, then send it.

Not sure he is claiming he wasn't paid. The buyer is claiming the part was damaged when he got it and now most likely wants the seller to refund the money. At least that is the way I read it,

Apart from the buyer wanting a refund, I don't understand all this: "...He isclaiming damages to something he has not opened and also statign it was not packaged..." Not opened, but not packaged???
