My 2014 C7 convert Z51 #485 was ordered by GM and shipped directly to GM Warren MI. Clean accident free CarFax. Every available option except Comp seats and body stripes. $73,755 MSRP. Owned by GM for 1 1/2 years sold with 15,000 miles. I speculate a GM executive car. Interior and exterior perfect condition.
Here is the question. The car does not have 'Stingrays' on the front fenders or 'Corvette' on the rear bumper. 2 codes on build sheet that I don't know the meaning of. 'GFX' and VA5.

Thanks. Well that explains those 2 codes. Can't help but wonder if there was a special request by some person at GM to deleat those badges. Obviously this C7 was not used for promotional purposes because all badges, lettering etc would want to appear to promote the car.
It's not important, just looking for feedback. FB group didn't have any owners with both missing on cars never repaired or repainted.

My car has a very similar history/ beginning. It's convertible # 594. It does have the Stingray badges on the fenders and the Corvette badge on the rear. Love the car.

Many of us remove badging from our cars. I personally removed the fish on the front fenders and CORVETTE lettering from the rear bumper.

I would imagine someone just removed them as some people like to debadge a car.

Would love to see the look without the Corvette and fish. Waiting for warmer weather and removing my chrome Stingrays, but not decided on the Corvette letters yet. Can you post a picture of your cars rear end?

No fish per your request, and no rear lettering

Thanks! I was wondering if the rear end would look weird, like too much open space, but I like it. I’m going to remove fish and letters from mine. I bought GM dark emblems but have not put them on yet. I will post mine when done.

Anyone could have easily removed them in a matter of minutes with dental floss (or fish-line) and Goo Gone. I did.
