I've been noticing that when I have my phone hooked up to my car, every time I receive a text message or media message or RCS, the car will ding to alert me every 5 seconds and pop up a new notification. If I don't push dismiss right away it will then do it again, and again, and again. It stacks the notifications on the dashboard even though it might only be one message. So if I push dismiss I got to keep going down and pushing dismiss a million times and if I don't the car will keep going ding ding ding ding ding until the final Dismiss idrk pushed. I always use Android Auto and the Bluetooth always auto connects
It did it with my old phone and my new phone so I know it's not phone related. Has anyone else noticed this?
The one thing that I haven't tried, and I didn't even think of until just no, is to turn off Android Auto and just utilize Bluetooth and see if it does the same thing. But I use Android Auto for everything so it's going to suck, but trying to at least nail it down.
I'm also running the latest firmware on the HMI interface with my AC Delco subscription so I don't have to go to the dealership to get anything programmed I do it all at home. 2016 3LT
