I had a '14 M7 - LOVED that car!! Kicked myself daily for selling it. My wife said, 'so get another one', so I found an identical '15 with a plus.... it's a convertible!
Some actually say that the 2014's are one of the best years. The C7 Stingray roll-out was a big deal to GM and the focus on quality was probably pretty intense in the factory. I have a 2014 2LT Z51 M7 convertible and have been nothing but happy and impressed with it. I absolutely love it and recently passed on an opportunity to trade it for a 2023 1LT non-Z51 for $37.5k cash and my car. The dealer had not even seen my car and I probably could have worked them a little harder. I like to row and the lack of a manual transmission in the C8 coupled with the fact that I love my blue C7 made turning that deal down pretty easy. Go for it!
Everything I've read on the forum indicates the '14's are some of the most trouble free C7's. IIRC there might be an issue with the infotainment system but I think you can upgrade it to utilize Android Auto and Apple Play. When I bought my C6 GS there was a '14 with 3K miles for only $4K more. Should have just spent the little extra and gotten that car.

Some owners have had some electrical issues, especially with the Infotainment system (I had to replace the screen on my car). Another area is the belt tensioner. The 2014 has been really quite problem free for a first year of a generation.
I sold my 2016 3LT A8 coupe with only 7k miles in search of a similar 2014 2LT version with the A6. Why you ask? Because I was unhappy with the A8 transmission (they had not figured out the problem or come up with the triple flush solution yet) and I feared the potential bubbles on the 3LT leather dash. The 2014 2LT A6 minimized those potential problems. Found a white on red Z51 coupe with only 13k miles and couldn’t be happier. So far it has been trouble free.

I had a 14 coupe and traded it for a 19 vert. The coupe, even after over $700 in insulation was quite loud in the cabin. It also developed the trans shudder fixed for about $700. The info screen went out as well as the cable. Other than that it was fine. Get the 2lt trim level to avoid the dash delamization.

First I’ve heard of any transmission shudder in a 2014 with the A6. What was the $700 fix?
Thanks for everyone's input. I really appreciate it! Now just dealing with the condition of the chrome wheels. Never saw so much curb rash and peeling. Depending on the state, I understand that shops can't legally strip the chrome since it's an EPA hazard.
I have a 14 Z51 M7 3LT that I bought in 18 with 38K on it. 76 on it now. Other than the dash delamination its been trouble free. I don't use the hidden cubby behind the infotainment screen to avoid HMI issues. The battery is the original and still going strong as a daily driver.
I had a 2014 Z51, M7 and had zero issues over 6 years.
......have my '14 Z51 1LT 7MT Conv. Literally one of most trouble free first year roll outs in American auto history. It's the longest I've ever owned a car (have owned six Vettes over the years), bought in 2016. And with no manual on the C8 (though still a very cool car) and only 19.3K on mine it's hard to justify going after #7

Those batteries go rather suddenly, I might consider replacing yours preemptively.......
Designer Imagines A Corvette That Looks More Like a Corvette Than the Corvette
