Hi, not sure if you called today but you can use the code TIF5P at checkout for 5% off on your total order.
You can't go wrong with Soler. The throttle controller and throttle body were my second and third modifications and both made the car way more enjoyable to drive. Not that it was bad, but I enjoy crisp throttle response quite a lot. I added an aFe Momentum CAI with a dry filter as well.
I ordered the TB already, should be here soon, I was teetering about the afe but I think the window on it looks cool , just as well do both at same time , was even thinking about painting the afe red with some sort of hi temp paint to match the car , ever heard of anyone doing that?

I don't know if I would do that, but that's just a matter of personal preference. I'd be worried about scratching it up during installation and the red may be a little overpowering.
That is true, I saw the Corsa red carbon fiber ones but did not think it was worth $1100 ,
What are your thoughts on tuning? I have been advised a tune not needed for my mods, I already have a range in place but wondering if selling it and getting hptuner (600 with credits) is better long term
You don't need a tune with the mods you are planning so far. Unless you are going to be doing a lot more stuff, you might be better off just having a shop do it on an as-needed basis, depending on your planned mods after the first round. You don't mention if you are a do-it-yourselfer, but if you are having a shop install bigger mods, just have them do it and take any guesswork out of it.
I guess since i already have the Range in place and these mods dont require tuning i will just let it run a while like this until i
get a feel for it, the only thing that I might do going forward is an AFM delete kit that actualy gets rid of the bad lifters
and physical pieces, that is not something i wouyld do my self so probably the shop that does the work would tune afterward
so an HPT might just be a waste,
