My AC compressor for a 2019 Automatic Stingray recently started blowing hot air. The blower motor is perfectly fine and the refrigerant is full with no leaks. I was also told that the relay is working without issue but to do further testing they'll need to remove a bunch of crap from under the hood just to reach the compressor. Apparently the compressor is visually not working. Have any of you guys dealt with a similar issue and if so, do you think the compressor will most likely need to be replaced?
My biggest concern besides getting the AC to work is them messing around with it and not putting everything back properly. Another concern is them having to remove any part of the dash just to access certain "wiring" as the shop tech put it. The car barely has 10k miles on it and the last thing I need to worry about is other problem caused by the shop.
How much should I expect to pay for parts and labor?
I have no idea ....it depends on whats wrong , if its the compressor maybe a couple of hours at what ever hourly rate is plus the cost of the parts and freon

See if your dealer has a certified Corvette technician - if not, and you are worried about them doing the job, find another dealer that has experience working on a C7.
About a month after I took delivery of my new 2015 C7, the a/c did the same thing - not blow cool air.
Took it back to the dealer, was a quick fix as they found an electrical connector was not seated fully on the harness for the compressor. No problems since.

I really hope that's the only thing wrong with mine since it's out of warranty. Did they have to remove a bunch of stuff out of the way just to reach the electrical connector?

Was back 8 years ago, but I seem to recall it was a quick fix, with about 0.5 hrs charged against the warranty.
Had a compressor clutch failure on a 15 Z51 and the steering rack had to be pulled to replace it. Dealer was back order but Rock Auto had AC Delco factory plus several aftermarket brands in stock. The AC Delco was about 50%of dealer retail.

Can you send me the link please? All I’m seeing is the four seasons brand in stock and that one is apparently trash.

Certain dash wiring ??…HUH ??…to say the compressor is “visually” not working tells me the relay is NOT working !!…dealership techs are CLUELESS so find a diagnostic shop that can diagnose this accurately…they understand electrical circuits not only on your car but ANY car…is the AC clutch engaged with the AC on ??…do you know what the AC clutch looks like when it’s engaged ??…it takes me 5 minutes to check the AC Clutch relay…all 4 terminals…all that is needed is a 12 volt test light.

I would start by using a multimeter to test if the compressor is getting signal to turn on.
All that is needed is a 12 volt test light connected to B+ and some thin copper wire to check the “turn on” terminal on the relay.
You can do that too. I prefer checking the source item first, then working backwards. Because if there is a wiring issue, then there would not be signal at the compressor.

What is “source item” ??…I don’t understand that terminology.

He said the compressor clutch wasn't engaging, but that the system is filled with refrigerant. The compressor is the source I would prefer to begin the diagnosis with a multimeter.
It doesn’t say if this is for my specific corvette but you’re 100% sure this is the right part number? Chevy won’t give it to me over the phone to confirm

You could enter your specific car into rockauto or another service if you don't wanna take our word for it.
